What does “Inclusion” mean?

Inclusion means that every person in a community is accepted, has the same rights as the others and can enjoy those privileges to the extent that he or she chooses. This is independent of gender, ethnic origin, age, religion, education or whether the person has some kind of handicap.

During my childhood, I never met an orphan or handicapped child in kindergarten or school. I never came across them in the streets or elsewhere either. I had only read about such people in books. We had a Gypsy family as neighbours.
